Sixth Annual Toledo Fishermen Festival

Fishing Tournament

Entrance Fee $50.00 per boat

Deadline for registration is 21st March 2008

Registration on the day of tournament is $75.00

1st Place Paul Jacobs Trophy: Biggest fish by weight

2nd Place: Biggest three fish by weight, 3 different species

3rd Place: Biggest Jack

TOURNAMENT RULES:

• Up to four (4) persons per boat
• No long lines, spear gun, harpoon, diving, dive equipment, or striking of fish
• No Shark, Catfish, Long Guard Fish, Permit, Tarpon, Bonefish, no Jewfish (Goliath fish) under 50 pounds
• Tournament begins at 6:00 a.m. at TIDE wharf/Monkey River
• All boats must return to TIDE wharf by 3:00 p.m. sharp (no grace period)
• Towing line may be substituted for set lines 
• All crafts will be inspected before leaving
• Use of life jacket is a MUST.
• Entry fee must be paid before leaving
• TIDE’s judge will determine winners
• Respect the rules and laws of the Port Honduras Marine Reserve
• Meeting at TIDE on the 21st March 2008 in the Conference Room at 4:00 p.m. to review rules
