TIDE hosted a five day regional workshop on Marine Protected Areas (MPA) management capacity and coral reef resilience.
Workshop sessions held from Monday 23rd Feb to Friday 27th Feb focus on building marine protected area MPA management capacity and coral reef resilience in the Caribbean’s Mesoamerican Reef Region - The event was coordinated by Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute GCFI Project manager Emma Doyle.
The Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute provided expert facilitation by Paul Marshall - Reef Ecologic, Meghan Gombos - Sea Change Consulting, and Bob Glazer - GCFI Executive Director.
This Mesoamerican Reef regional workshop has the participation of 24 delegates from major Marine Protected areas from three different countries.
