TCC Students swamp TIDE information booth
Students came out in large numbers and flocked the TIDE booth in order to inform themselves on the importance of the natural resources for future generations.
TIDE had developed a wealth of information through its research activities for the purpose of a sound management practices and to direct proper development of its natural resources in Southern Belize. Students not only learn from TIDE management skills for ecosystems, but also have the opportunity to volunteer at TIDE to gain skills and exposure to the science work conducted by TIDE scientist both Marine and Terrestrial ecosystems.
TIDE education outreach continues to provide outreach to its buffer communities and local institutions in the area of work in the Maya Mountain Marine Corridor (MMMC).
TIDE continues to be a leader in ecosystems management, and encourage community participation in resource management.
