Earth Day will be celebrated on Thursday April 22, 2010.  At the Toledo Institute for Development and Environment, everyday is Earth Day, but TIDE has planned several activities for this particular day to raise awareness across the community. Environmental Education and Outreach staff and volunteers are working with schools in Punta Gorda and other villages in the Toledo District, with each school planning a unique activity.

TIDE has posted an activity scheduled during the Freshwater Games on Sunday 25 April 2010 to involve children and youth in making art out of trash or found materials. See our link on the Earth Day Website
