These pictures, taken with a cell phone camera, show TIDE Rangers towing the sailboat Freyjo off of a flat in the Port Honduras Marine Reserve.

TIDE Rangers are responsible for the surveillance and patrol of the reserve, to ensure that the laws and regulations of Belize are followed. TIDE Rangers often spend time educating fishermen and other visitors to the reserve about regulations. TIDE rangers also look after the safety of those who use the reserve and assist whenever needed.
