TIDE's Fresh Water Cup Competition is about to begin!

Looking for a place to showcase your football skills, help the environment and win great prizes?? Well, TIDE’s Fresh Water Cup is here again! Teams are registered and ready to let the games begin! As you should know by now, TIDE’s Fresh Water Cup competition is a two phase competition: phase 1: an environmental project that improves our Fresh Water resources and phase 2: football competition. It is a must that teams complete their environmental project before participating in the football competition.

To open this year’s Fresh Water Cup Competition with a bang, TIDE is hosting football marathons for both junior and senior teams. The junior team marathon is scheduled for Friday, March 2nd, 2012 at 8:30 am while the senior team marathon is scheduled for Sunday, March 11th, 2012 at Punta Gorda’s Union Field.

Teams, please keep working on your projects! The dates for the competition will be announced shortly.

Interested but haven’t registered yet? Then stop by the TIDE’s office at 1 Mile San Antonio Road in Punta Gorda for more information or call 722-2274 or at 722-2431 during normal working hours!

TIDE takes this time to say a big thank you to UNICEF for sponsoring the Junior Fresh Water Cup competition!
